Motion capture is as important to video games as it is to the movie industry which is why Raven has its own in-house studio. The staff is comprised of veteran game and digital film animators but we are always on the look out for new talent and have an internship program for on-the-job training. We also employ a number of talented actors from south-central Wisconsin. Having mo-cap facilities at our disposal allows us to experiment with marker setups, camera configurations and software so that we continue to improve our quality and output. Raven Software is dedicated to advancing our equipment and personnel so that we remain on the cutting edge of this exciting field. A suite of 3D scanners was even recently added to quickly generate highly detailed 3D models of everyday items, clothing and faces – this allows our talented 3D modelers to focus on generating models for the more difficult other-worldly items and life forms.
