In creating art for the latest in Next-Gen game engines and technology, Raven Software has moved into a realm that was previously reserved for feature films. 3D modelers create vehicles, creatures and characters that range from hundreds of thousands to millions of polygons, giving each model a hyper-realistic look. Animators then bring the 3D models to life by giving them movement that no human actor could possibly match. 2D artists create lifelike skins for models as well as high definition textures for ingame architecture; they also do concept sketches of many of the assets and environments to determine the exact look that’s desired. Our team is comprised of artists from all disciplines: comic books, advertising, illustration and movies; and they work with software and hardware that is state-of-the-art. Raven has always been driven to create games that are visually stunning and is willing to go the extra mile to achieve those results.
