Activision, Inc. and Vivendi recently announced they’ve signed a definitive agreement to combine Vivendi Games with Activision. Vivendi’s interactive entertainment business includes Blizzard Entertainment’s ® World of Warcraft®, the world’s #1 multi-player online role-playing game franchise, along with other titles such as Spyro and Crash Bandicoot. Activision’s titles include Guitar Hero III, Call of Duty, and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. The new business entity, Activision Blizzard, expects to have the most diversified portfolio of interactive titles in the industry.
